- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese, such as cheddar or Monterey Jack
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
Instructions
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheese, onion, bell pepper, parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt and pepper until well blended. Spread the mixture onto the four tortillas, spreading evenly. Roll up each tortilla tightly, then wrap each in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Unwrap the tortillas and cut into 1/2-inch slices. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter or tray and serve. The pinwheels can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
